[edit] Plot summary
Eric & Donna are parked and Donna is telling him about how her parents fighting is getting to her. Eric cheers her up, and she tells him she loves him. Eric tries to say I love you, but instead tells her he loves cake. Hyde tells Eric that now he has to tell her he loves her so she will tell him she loves him and then everything will be back to normal. The next night, he's parked with Donna again. He says "I love you", but after a couple seconds of silence from Donna, he pops her one in the shoulder and says ". . .man" and laughs. Donna tells Jackie what happened. Jackie tells her that Eric probably doesn't know how to handle a "I Love You" yet, so she should just play it cool. That night Eric played basketball with Donna. She shoots a basket, and he compliments her, and tells her that he loves her. Donna tells him that he needs to stop saying "I love you" at the wrong times because she didn't care if he said "I love you." Eric tells her that he hesitated because telling her that he loves her would mean he'd regret it if they ever broke up. Donna then suggests that they just pretend it never happened, and Eric agrees. Later, they're sitting on top of the car. Donna is talking about her parents again, and Eric cheers her up. He says that he loves her, she says she loves him, too, and they kiss.
Bob & Midge had a fight. Bob asks Red if he can stay over for the night. Red agrees reluctantly. Bob goes back to the house but Midge won't let him in. He stays at the Forman's. Kitty tells Red that she really doesn't want Bob around using her bathtub and all that. She orders Red to tell Midge to take Bob back. He goes first thing the next morning, but Midge tells him she won't. Red goes over to Midge's house again and pretends he's trapped under a tree branch. Midge comes out to help him, and Bob runs into the house. That night Bob tells Red that he and Midge split up, but they're going to still live together and see other people.
Kelso gets a new leather jacket which Jackie very much appreciates. She says he looks like Marlon Brando. Hyde & Fez immediately poke fun at him, calling him the "Fonz." Eric laughs at him, too, even when Kelso promises to share a pizza in the circle with people that don't ridicule his new jacket. Laurie laughs at him. He throws his jacket on the floor and says he's had enough. Hyde wears Kelso's jacket and everyone compliments how hot and how much he looks like Marlon Brando. Kelso tells Hyde to give him back his jacket, and he starts fighting with him.
