[edit] Plot synopsis
The movie focuses on Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a young woman who has been abducted and tortured by a serial killer but manages to flee. After being rescued, she is sent to the hospital for treatment. After she regains consciousness in the hospital, she claims to be another young woman named Dakota Jordan. She then faces a desperate race to convince people of her identity and save Aubrey's life while in the meantime raising questions as to whether she is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or if something more sinister is occuring.
