I Just Wanna Luv U (Give It 2 Me) was the first single from rapper Jay-Z's album The Dynasty: Roc La Familia. It marks the artist's return to collaboration with the production team The Neptunes, after 1997's The City Is Mine, and Neptunes member Pharell Williams also appears with vocals on the recording. The video for the song contains cameos by Beanie Sigel, Lil' Kim, Jermaine Dupri, Damon Dash, Lil' Cease, Memphis Bleek, and actor John Witherspoon.

Some controversy has surrounded the words in the song:

I Just Wanna Luv U (Give It 2 Me)

When the Remi's in the system, ain't no tellin
Will I fuck 'em will I diss 'em, that's what they be yellin
I'm a pimp by blood, not relation
Y'all be chasin, I replace them
Drunk off Crist...

which has great similarities with the words from The Notorious B.I.G.'s song The World Is Filled...:

I Just Wanna Luv U (Give It 2 Me)

When the Remi's in the system, ain't no tellin
Will I fuck 'em will I diss 'em, that's what these hoes yellin
I'm a pimp by blood, not relation
Y'all still chase on, I'll replace on, punks
Drunk off Dom...

As a result Jay-Z has been accused of so-called 'biting', or stealing other artists' lyrics. As he points out himself, however, in the song What More Can I Say on The Black Album, this should be considered as tribute rather than plagarism.
