"I Don't Care Anymore" is a song by Phil Collins from his second solo album Hello, I Must Be Going. The song is a very dark song, which follows a vast majority of songs from the album. The song can be compared to his earlier hit single "In the Air Tonight", as both have very 'powerful' drums along with simple keyboard chords and guitar riffs, along with the lyrics which are directed at the anger that Collins had over his first marriage.
[edit] Trivia
- The video was the first to feature touring drummer Chester Thompson. Other videos to feature Chester included Sussudio, I Wish it Would Rain Down, Hang in Long Enough and Something Happened on the Way to Heaven.
- This song was covered by nu metal band "From Zero" in their 2003 album, My So-Called Life (album).
- The song was featured in an episode of the TV series Miami Vice. Like his earlier single In the Air Tonight, it was featured during an escalation toward the climax of the episode.
