Talk:I Capuleti e i Montecchi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Please note that I am the author of the synopsis that appears on Opera japonica and I am making it available on Wikipedia.
This can be confirmed by writing to Simon.Holledge@operajaponica.org
I wasn't sure whether to give my name (Simon Holledge) as author. How does this work? Should I credit the original publication?

- Hi, thanks for contributing this fine article. The copyright notice will bring it to the attention of an administrator, who will no doubt be in touch soon to check with you about the ownership of the rights, which presumably you retained yourself when you published it on Opera Japonica. The thing will then be (I think) to leave a little notice at the bottom stating that it's reproduced with permission from Opera Japonica, though I'm not sure offhand of the exact wording. Best wishes Flapdragon 00:51, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

- The copyright violation procedure doesn't seem to have been correctly followed as the article was never listed on the Wikipedia:Copyright_problems. This should have been done by the person raising the issue. --David Woolley 19:10, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
Thanks. I am also the publisher of Opera japonica. A permission note would be ideal from my point of view if someone can tell me how this is done. This is my first Wikipedia day! Kleinzach 01:07, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
- Welcome. I hope I haven't put you off! I'm sure your knowledge will be great asset. Flapdragon 01:21, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Title (don't trust google)
I (The) Capuleti (Capulets) e (and) i (the) Montecchi (Montagues). Anyway, if somebody wants to verify the Italian titles, please go to it.wiki. Thanks from Italy. --Al pereira 00:29, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yes I believe this article title is the correct one, and yes the other one (which has some good information) should be merged into this one. - Kleinzach 08:42, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- I have now completed the merge - in the absence of any objections from anyone - and replaced I Capuleti ed i Montecchi with a redirect. Kleinzach 15:21, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
