"I Belong to You" was the fifth and final single released from Whitney Houston's third album I'm Your Baby Tonight. It was written by Derek Bramble and Franne Golde. The song is an anthem to love, as Houston declares "she belongs to her man".

Houston's career was in decline, and everyone knew it. With only two number-one singles from the album (while her first album had managed three, and her second had managed four), Houston received great pressure to return to at least the top five with the song. She disappointed everyone when "I Belong to You" reached number ten on the R&B Chart, and didn't even make the pop chart. Internationally, it was another failure, entering only the UK charts, where it managed to reach only fifty-four.

The music video for the song is just a live performance during Houston's "I'm Your Baby Tonight" tour.
