I'm Sorry I'm Leaving followed Saves The Day's initial offering by taking a detour to a lighter acoustic sound. The album features a cover of Modern English's I Melt With You and Jessie and My Whetstone - which would later be featured on the Ups and Downs B-Sides collection.
