"I'm Glad" is the third single taken from Jennifer Lopez's third studio album This Is Me... Then (2002), released in 2003. The music video, directed by David LaChapelle, is heavily inspired on 1983's film Flashdance, starred by Jennifer Beals, whose character, Alexandra Owens, is also a construction worker by day and a dancer at night. It was nominated for four MTV Video Music Awards in 2003: "Best Female Video," "Best Dance Video," "Best Choreography," and "Best Art Direction."
