Hyundai Lambda engine

The Hyundai Lambda engine family is the company's modern all-aluminum V6. It is manufactured at Hyundai's HMMA plant in Montgomery, Alabama.

The 3.3 L G6DB version was introduced with the 2006 Sonata. It produces 238-247 hp (175 kW) at 6000 rpm and 238 ft·lb (306 N·m) at 3500 rpm.

The G6DB has an aluminum block and heads, variable valve timing on the intake side, and 4 valves per cylinder. Bore is 92.0 mm (3.6 in) and stroke is 83.8 mm (3.3 in) for a total displacement of 3342 cc.

The 3.8 L (3778 cc) version produces 265 hp (198 kW) and 258 ft·lb (348 Nm). It has a 96.0 mm bore and 87.0 mm stroke.
