In 2006 he was named President of Youth Federation for World Peace. Elected by board as President of Unification Church International April 2006.
After the "failure" of Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han Moon's oldest son Hyo Jin Moon due to long-term problems with substance abuse, infidelity, and violence,[2] Hyun Jin Moon, the next oldest living son, is widely expected within the church to become Rev. Moon's next-generation successor. Heung Jin Moon, the second oldest son, died in 1984.
