[edit] Synopsis

While preparing for her high school reunion, Phoebe's wild teenage personality takes over her body when she inadvertently casts a spell on herself. At the reunion, teenage Phoebe reconnects with her former gang and finds herself in trouble when their old leader, Rick, uses Phoebe's magic to rob an armored car. Meanwhile, Piper calls upon her father Victor Bennett to find out why Chris is keeping his distance from her.

[edit] Trivia

  • The episode title is a play on words to the story of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
  • In the opening credits, Brian Krause is shown, but he is not actually shown in this episode.
  • In this episode 6 months have passed, giving Piper the look of being about seven months pregnant.
  • Is the first time Chris calls Piper "mom."
  • Victor meets his grandson Chris in this episode. Chris says that in the future they have a great relationship after "the event."
  • Chris tells Victor that he should quit smoking as it might lead to future health problems. He also tells him that in his future Piper dies when he is fourteen years old, leaving Victor to care for Chris and Wyatt.
  • This is the second time that we hear Phoebe's high school nickname: Freebie. The first time it was mentioned was in the episode Love Hurts. It was also mentioned in the same episode that she was called Freebie after 'making out with someone under the bleachers,' which Phoebe also remarks in the current episode while talking to Todd, referring to the time they 'made out under the bleachers.'
  • When Phoebe becomes young again she acts as if she doesn't remember being a witch when she first turns Paula into a dog, but she still remembers that Paige is her sister.
  • Phoebe is shown to be able to morph her appearance in this episode without the aid of a spoken spell. Previously only Paige could do this, and only because it is an ability Whitelighters have. Some viewers think a spell may have been said off screen.
  • Phoebe is the only sister not shown to have braces in high school. In Be Careful What You Witch For, Prue's teen self is shown having braces. Similarly, in Paige from the Past, Paige is shown having braces as well. In a Yearbook Photo from season three's Coyote Piper, we see that Piper had glasses and braces in high school, too. Piper remarked in a season four episode that Phoebe has always been beautiful.
  • This episode had 4.82 million viewers and it was the highest rated episode for The WB that week even beating 7th Heaven episode.[1].
