Hyde Parker III

Hyde Parker III (1786-1854) was a British Vice-Admiral started to serve in the Napoleonic Wars and appointed First Sea Lord of the Admiralty in 1852. He was the son of Sir Hyde Parker, Jr. and grandson of Sir Hyde Parker, Sr.
His son was a captain in the Black Sea during the Crimean War and was killed in 1854 when storming a Russian fort.
