Hy Averback

Hy Averback (October 21, 1920 - October 14, 1997) was an director, producer, actor, and production manager. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Averback co-produced the popular Sixties sitcom F Troop but is best known as the voice over the loudspeaker heard on the television series M*A*S*H.
He died October 14, 1997 in Los Angeles, California after surgery.
