Talk:Hvar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hvar is the most visited island in Croatia. Charming and beautiful. Look at it main photo gallery - www.sunnyisland.info/gallery.htm and www.sunnyisland.info
- www.sunnyisland.info :) My memory of Hvar is mainly cycling the old road from Stari Grad to Hvar through a rather big rain cloud. Twice. But when you are not inside a cloud it is rather charming :) --Xeper 17:36, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- You were pretty unlucky there, because meteorologists hail Hvar as the Croatian island with the most sunny days in a year on average. :) --Joy [shallot] 21:12, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Sadly, the east of the island gets covered in pollution from the cement factory on the mainland. Anon user 18:10, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

In "De administrando imperio" Byzantium emperor said "Serbs live there and there"? Well, many politicians even today call all former-Soviet Union citizens as "Russians", although many of them are neither Slavs. Claiming that Serbs lived in 8. century is same as "Wishie wish, how vast you are."
