Huw Bunford (also known as "Bunf") is the guitarist in the rock band, Super Furry Animals.

He was born in Cardiff on the 15 September 1967. He used to be a teacher, and played with Guto Pryce in the punk band U Thant, before they both joined Super Furry Animals. Bunford was something of a disgrace to the teaching profession. The former primary and secondary art teacher has admitted that he was a "soft touch" and a bad teacher. This however didn't stop his former pupils graffitiing "FREE BUNF" around the walls of their school when Bunford was arrested for drug possession in 1996.

He met SFA singer Gruff Rhys on the roof of a train.
