Talk:Hutton Grammar School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This artcle calls the school a grammer school yet it also says it has no selection at 11 which seems contradictory. Which is it. Ydam 13:26, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
The article has made a mistake. It is not a grammar school - it is a comprehensive school. It just USED to be a grammar school so it's still called "Hutton Grammar School". I know because I'm a former pupil there. Posted by IBPD
Also to answer your question, you're indeed correct. Hutton is infact not a 'grammer' school but rather a 'grammar' school. presumably you were schooled at a comprehensive. (Barnish)
I think it also incumbent to point out that the article states on two occasions that, although the word 'grammar' is used in the school's title, the school has no selctive entry. Do try to keep up! (DES)
