Hutt Intermediate school (HIS) is an intermediate school located in the suburb of Central Hutt, in the capital of New Zealand, Wellington.

The school was founded in 1918, and currently has a total number of 785 students and a teaching staff of 45.

The school has produced many talented people and continues to do so today.

The current principal, on the month of July 2006, is Mr.Neil Withington, who has been the principal of Hutt Intermediate School for three years.
