Hut (building)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A hut is a simple and sometimes temporary building constructed for a specific use. Its design favors local techniques and materials to allow for swift and inexpensive construction.
Huts may be used as dwellings, which was the original use for the term. Later, huts were built for other purposes, such as storage, workshop, teaching or anything else that requires an enclosed space. Although huts are usually humble and unassuming, some became well-known like the Hut 8.
