[edit] where did u find these?

[edit] Me again

I like the new layout. Im glad that you found that Freakin AWESOME pic of of the 82 storm. The reason i keep comin back here is because I am fascinated about storms that form in unusual areas. I think this should be a real page. It's a heck of a lot better than the current one. — Cyclone1 04:19, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Pics

Im not nearly finished, but i figured that i was tired of lookin at augusts and septembers, so i gave October a shot. I searched thru October 1996-97-98 and 2003. Out of these Archives, I found Two possible Tropical Storms [1] [2]

...and one very possible hurricane. I was dumbstruck when i found this. It looked more like a hurricane than any of the others. Please if you use any of the pics i find, use this one. [3]

Cyclone1 02:11, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Absolutely. I'll keep lookin for 'em. — Cyclone1 03:10, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Two more. I think only one maight be tropical though, this one. [4] But this one has two in it, both look extratropical thoug. Cool to see.[5]Cyclone1 17:49, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, seeing the visible image I agree with you. Im still checkin the October's in the 80's. Cyclone1 01:54, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Possible short lived storm in 89. Big though. Looks pretty tropical to me. [6]Cyclone1 02:36, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
Thats fine, I'm not good with judgement between tropical and nearly tropical. I see a whirl in the Med. Sea and I post it here. Hey, By the way, the August 30th 1996 storm doesn't look like the circulation is tight enough to be called tropical. If it were in any other sea, it would easily be written off as extra tropical. Thats just my opinion. Cyclone1 20:10, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Hahaha, good point. Its a cool page nonetheless. I can see what you mean. I looked at the image a few hours before the one posted and I can see the subtropical...ness. (Thats a word in my brain.) Cyclone1 23:20, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hey, Hink

Hey Hink, Check out the first paragraph of the Anyway, section of my user page. I created a 1996 Mediterranean Hurricane Season , or at least what it should look like if it existed. You can only get there from my page. (Click There)----->Cyclone1 18:14, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

The whole ethnicity thing did run through my mind, and I would have looked up European names if I weren't pressed for time. Life got in the way. The list I used is just my own list I created long ago.

I'll look for some Mediterranean names later tonight and I'll change it. But not now cuz I still have a life. Cyclone1 21:53, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

Got the names. All European. Cyclone1 18:17, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Thank you. I liked your list, too. I got to keep Dominic(k) and Monica! They were Mediteranean. Should we put the other list somewhere in that article, too? Cyclone1 18:42, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I'm on it. Should this list be treated similar to the North Indian Ocean naming list? Like the first 1997 storm would start at Dominic? Cyclone1 18:51, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

WHAAAAAT!? Awesome new ones. What inspired you to check December? Cyclone1 14:33, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

... Italy? whoa... I guess we aren't the only ones who look at this page. Cyclone1 21:39, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mediterranean tropical cyclone

Just wondering but I have a few questions. Which Mediterranean tropical cyclone was the strongest of all Mediterranean tropical cyclones, what Category was it on, and what year was it on? Cause I can't define what stregth it was on:-) Alastor Moody (talk) 22:49, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

I have no idea. There are no estimates, though I would guess around 90 mph with one of the canes with well-defined eyes. Hurricanehink (talk) 01:52, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
My guess would be the September '95 cane. Maybe the 96 October one. →Cyclone1 16:48, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Ehh, then again, it says here that a cut off low in march 1999 with tropical characteristics had winds of like 90 mph. That might be it. How tropical was it? As tropical as you can get over 59°F water. →Cyclone1 14:33, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WOW

Lovely page! I particularly like the fake images, LOL. By the way, Charley is the right spelling, not Charlie. LOL RaNdOm26 10:30, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Cool, thanks! :) Hurricanehink (talk) 13:58, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
