[edit] Merge?
Uhh, why does this storm have an article? It didn't do that much and there isn't a terrible amount of information here (reminds me of Cindy of '05; which shouldn't have an article either, but we won't go there). -- §HurricaneERIC§Damagesarchive 02:59, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- The only reason why I didn't merge it right away (after seeing your notice) was due to the damage total. If more specifics can be found regarding what the storm did, especially if anything notable, then this article could stay. It is very iffy currently, and without a lot of work it will probably be merged. Hurricanehink 04:51, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

- Actually, I think this should stay, mainly due to the tornado outbreak. 39 tornadoes spawned by the storm is pretty notable to me, as that also appears on the List of notable Atlantic hurricanes. The content is barely passable, and still needs more, but it is getting there. Also, I believe the tornado information should be its own section. You should cover the wind and rain damage in one section, followed by a tornado sub-section. Hurricanehink 16:17, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
Just let it stay. It made landfall, caused a bunch of damage and killed some people. Works fine as an independent article. Everyking 00:28, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
I see no reason to merge. This is perfectly fine as an independent article. Sarge Baldy 23:14, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

- From a notability standpoint, $200m 2005USD and basically no deaths is a toss-up. From a content standpoint, the article is solid. From a quality standpoint, it needs a lot of work (for instance I'm sure there have been at least 5 hurricanes to make landfall along the gulf coast). — jdorje (talk) 03:46, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
