[edit] Assessment
Start-class, low importance. This article has everything, but it needs a copyedit before it can be considered for B-class. Also, storm history should be more than one paragraph, if possible. --Coredesat talk! 14:18, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

- I suggest lengthening that 2nd paragraph in the intro. Mitchazenia 14:31, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- "Forecasters began issuing warnings from Marco Island to Tarpon Springs, Florida.". What type of warning? Mitchazenia 14:31, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

First, I'd suggest you use a different storm history than the one in the season article. Some wording changes are needed. You use "then" four times and "reported" six times; it's a bit repetitive. A few places need a bit more copyediting. "However, despite the damage and fatalites, the rainfall did end a severe drought in Florida." That seems a bit POV and a bit dramatic, no offense. That sounds like the storm was really bad, but a good thing from it was that it ended a drought. The storm wasn't that bad. The Georgia/NC paragraph could use some work. Try combining senntences. Is it necessary to say in a separate sentence that the rainfall in Georgia caused minor flood damage but no deaths? Similar thoughts should be grouped together. The same goes for the NC tornadoes (put damage in the first sentence). All in all, not bad. It could use more info, if available, but the only problems now are some grammar things. - Whoa, what an improvement, I think this is ready for B-Class. Storm05 13:05, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Could use a longer storm history and more preparations. Especially preps. Good work on avoiding spelling errors, though. – Chacor 12:31, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
I disagree. I think the content is there, and it is clean enough to be B class. Hurricanehink (talk) 14:17, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
