[edit] Kayaking focus & jargon
I'm going to remove a bit of jargon from this article, so it makes more sense to people who are not kayakers.
For example... believe it not kayaking people... to a lot of the english speaking population the word 'paddling' actually conjures images of taking off your socks and walking around in shallow water (which isn't really something Hurley is known for! hehehe)
I'm a kayaker myself, and hang around with a lot of kayakers. It often surprises how they will use kayaking jargon all the time without realising it.
Some more non-kayak related info would make the article more balanced too (if anyone can think of any notable facts to say about a weir!?)
By the way, there's a 'Hurley Weir' article on kayakwiki which certainly should be kayak focussed, if anyone's interested in contributing there -- Nojer2 15:05, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
