Hurwenen (51°49′N 5°19′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Maasdriel, and lies about 11 km southwest of Tiel.

In 2001, the town of Hurwenen had 285 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.11 km2, and contained 122 residences.[1] The statistical area "Hurwenen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 640.[2]
