Hurricane Madeline

The name Madeline has been used for seven tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
- 1961's Tropical Depression Madeline - downgraded in post-analysis, should not have been named.
- 1968's Tropical Storm Madeline - weak short-lived storm that never threatened land.
- Unused in 1972
- 1976's Hurricane Madeline - a powerful Category 4 hurricane that was the second most-intense eastern Pacific hurricane at its landfall near Zihuatanejo. Impact is unknown.
- 1980's Tropical Storm Madeline - short-lived storm, stayed out to sea.
- 1986's Tropical Storm Madeline - not a threat to land.
- 1992's Tropical Storm Madeline - stayed out to sea.
- 1998's Hurricane Madeline - threatened Islas Maria and parts of Mexico before falling apart and doing no damage.
- Unused in 2004.
