Hurd/L4

Hurd/L4 is being developed by Neal Walfield and Marcus Brinkmann. The project is about running Hurd on top of the L4 microkernel, thus replacing GNU Mach.
In contrast with Hurd, Hurd/L4 is not an official GNU project yet.
