Huntington School is a very successful and oversubscribed mixed comprehensive secondary school situated in Huntington, York. The school is a technology college with approximately 1,600 pupils between the ages of 11 and 18. The school has a particularly successful sixth form, which was ranked 16th in the country for its results in 2006. The current head teacher is Mr. Chris Bridge. Huntington school is currently in the middle of a multi-million pound building project, which is being built to replace the old mobile classrooms at the back of the school.
