Hunter Taverner Hillenmeyer (born October 28, 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American football linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the NFL. He was originally selected with the 31st pick of the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers out of Vanderbilt University.
Hillenmeyer at times goes unappreciated due to the other two members of the Bears linebacking trio, Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs, being selected to the 2005 NFL Pro Bowl. However, he ranks third on the Bears in tackles over the past two seasons.
On June 30, 2006, the Bears signed Hillenmeyer to a five-year contract extension through 2010.
Hillenmeyer is currently pursuing a Part-Time MBA program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago
