Hungarian Urheimat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Hungarian Urheimat or more exactly Magyar Urheimat (Hungarian: Magyar Őshaza) is the (probable) land of origin (urheimat) of the Magyars, which was located on the eastern side of the Urals.
It is usually held that the urheimat is the same area as Yugra. From the Magyar Urheimat, the proto-Magyars moved to the west, to the area known as Magna Hungaria.
