[edit] LL.M. International Human Rights Law of the University of Essex

The LL.M (Master's in Law degree) is the first of its kind in the UK. Essex is widely regarded as the top school in the world when it comes to human rights education.[citation needed] The University also has an M.A. version of the degree. Some members of staff are members of UN committees and sub-committees. Graduates of the programme automatically become members of what is informally known as The Essex Mafia. It's a corpus of the alumni of this course all strategically placed in various organizations around the world.
