Hullavington

Hullavington is a village just north of Chippenham, Wiltshire, and a little north of the M4 motorway.
It is home town of the Jazz musician Jamie Cullum
It has a garage, a shop and 2 churches one of which meets in the village hall. The hall was recently opened by James Gray, the MP for North Wiltshire, after the previous one burnt down because of an electrical fault. There is also a Church of England village school which has approximately 150 pupils and is headed by John Barlow. Children from the army camp situated next to the village make up a fair proportion of the school and the army provides entertainment and firework on November 5th which is attended by many surrounding villages. There are many community events such as the Village Fete which is always well attended and many other meeting and concerts, there are fitness classes, line dancing, concerts, art classes etc, which take place in the village hall. Hullavington is also a very musically talented village as discovered at the recent church Harfest music festival. It is home to the famous Dani Wild and her band and also to the new extremely gifted Christian band: Rock Of Life. Hullavington is a lovely village with a wonderful community atmosphere.
