Hugolín Gavlovič

Hugolín Gavlovič (1712 - 1787) was a Slovak preacher, educationalist and representative of baroque literature.
He wrote didactical-reflexive poetry. He wrote his works in so-called "Slovakized Czech language" with a lot of elements from western Slovak dialects. His most famous piece of work is "Valašská škola, mravúv stodola".
