Htilominlo Temple

Htilominlo Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Bagan (formerly Pagan), built during the reign of King Htilominlo (also known as Nandaungmya) in 1211. The temple itself is 46 metres (150 ft) tall. The temple is built using red brick, and is three storeys tall. The temple chouses four Buddhas that face each direction, which are all located in the first floor. The temple is damaged in the 1975 earthquake and subsequently repaired. Htilominlo Temple is known for its elaborate plaster mouldings.
