From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

HSC Silvia Ana L was delivered in November 1996 to Los Cipreres, Montevideo, Uruguay. In December, same year, the ship started operating between Buenos Aires and Piriapolis. In 1997 she was upgraded in Cadiz.

Color Line chartered HSC Silvia Ana L in the summer months from 1997 to 2000, to operate on the Kristiansand - Hirtshals route. The high speed ferry operated on the Buenos Aires - Piriapolis route during the winter months.

HSC Silvia Ana L was sold to MDFC Aircraft in 2000, but the charter agreement with Color Line continued. Color Line bought the high speed vessel in 2005.
