Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Howmet Castings is the premier manufacturer of components of the jet aircraft, gas turbine, and other advanced technology industries. Howmet, a division of Alcoa, produces superalloys, aluminum, and titanium, primarily for jet engines, gas turbines, and airframes. Dedicated to research and the development of its material, Howmet operates 27 facilities in the United States, Canada, France, the UK, and Japan.

Howmet uses the investment casting process to provide its customers with superior products. This process can produce castings with complex 3D features and contours, thin walls, and undercuts. Howmet can produce its castings to the specifications of its customer requesting aluminum, titanium, or a superalloy.
