Howland Township is a geographic township and former township municipality in the municipality of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands, District of Manitoulin, Ontario, Canada.

Howland Township was dissolved as a municipality on January 1, 1998 with the creation of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands. According to the 2001 Census, Howland had a population of 995 over an area of 275.5 square kilometres.
