Howard Wayne Goss born on November 1, 1934, Wewoka, Oklahoma. Professional baseball player who played two seasons (1962, 1963) in the the majors for the Houston Colt .45's and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Goss had some power potential, so the Colt 45s traded for him during the 1963 season. It turned out to be a lopsided deal, as they gave up Manny Mota in the trade. Mota had a long and productive career in the major leagues, while Goss was shortly gone from the game.
