Howard Jones (heavy metal musician)

Howard Jones is the current lead singer of metalcore band Killswitch Engage and tech metalcore band Blood Has Been Shed. His first record with Killswitch Engage, The End of Heartache, was released in May 2004. He is known for his screaming and melodic singing.
Jones is a longterm WWE fan, as confirmed in a recent interview regarding the WWE Wreckless Intent album, he confirmed it was a dream come true to work with the organization. Killswitch Engage's song 'This Fire Burns' is the current theme of ECW Extremeist CM Punk. Originally from Central Ohio (Columbus) area, he resides in the New England area where both his bands originated. His band success did not start until he relocated to Connecticut for his endeavour with Blood Has Been Shed.
Howard Jones replaced the lead singer of Killswitch Engage, Jesse Leach, in July of 2002, shortly after the release of Alive or Just Breathing. He still sings lead vocals for the band Blood Has Been Shed despite his frontman role in Killswitch.
Recently he sang vocals for the song "The Dagger" from the Roadrunner United album released in 2005. "The Dagger" was written by Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn.
Killswitch Engage have now released their new album As Daylight Dies to critical acclaim. The new album has been described as a harmonic and devishly crafted work of art..with all the addded extras. Each band member has steped up one on this album, from the clean yet destructive vocals of Howard jones, or the fast paced yet melodic undertones of adam and his gutairs, theres nothing like this album to put you in the mood for ANYTHING be it a good cry, a fight, or a love session, it has certainly come up smelling of roses...well..not adam anyway!
