How To Destroy Angels is a CD by Coil. All of the songs are remixes from the 12" of the same name. The title of this CD is often incorrectly referred to as "How to Destroy Angels (Remixes And Re-Recordings)" to avoid confusing it with the original 12" How To Destroy Angels. It should be noted that the incorrect title has never been applied to pressings of the CD.
It contains different versions and mixes of the song How To Destroy Angels, which was released on a single of the same name in 1984. In addition, it features cover artwork by filmmaker Derek Jarman. The remixes were done by John Balance, Peter Christopherson, and Steven Stapleton of Nurse With Wound.
Like the version on the original release, the track Absolute Elsewhere is blank and silent. It is portrayed in this release as a single second of silence.
Tracks 1, 3, and 4 were remixed by John Balance. Tracks 2 and 5 were remixed by Peter Christopherson. Track 6 was remixed by Steven Stapleton.
