"How Could An Angel Break My Heart" is the fourth official single released from Toni Braxton's sophomore album, Secrets. The composition was co-written and co-produced by Toni Braxton and Babyface. Accompanied by Kenny G., the single was a Top 40 hit and propelled Secrets to 8x Platinum status.
The music video followed the lyrical content of an interracial relationship between Toni and her lover. He has left her for a Caucasian woman and she is left to pick up the pieces. The single was not as successful as its three preceding singles, but remains a fan favorite.
