Unfortunately, I know I'll never be up to snuff when it comes to citation. I wik almost entirely from memory. Despite the fact that there's no shortage of published sources that propigate rubbish, I understand why Wikipedia standards call for them and know that I should start making an effort in this regard. • There are times when I love being wrong, and this is one of them. A month ago I said that I would never be "up to snuff" when it came to citations. To be candid, I think I was just a little confused about the actually mechanics of the process. Look at any of the articles I've created recently and I hope you'll agree I've gotten very good about listing references and directly citing them when I should (especially when words are like "the biggest..." or "the oldest..." are concerned.) After I posted my note there, I noticed that there was a discussion at Talk:Wikitravel on the legal difficulties of moving material from Wikipedia to Wikitravel due to the fact that they use different Licensing schemes. I posed a question on that page and I'm waiting to see what comes of it.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my edit of the Bodhrán article. I am sorry for screwing up the footnotes. They may have been broken when I cut-and-pasted between Wikipedia and WordPerfect in order to spellcheck. I will be very mindful of that in the future. Or better yet, I should take a few minutes and see if there is an easier way to spellcheck. Wik On!

Yes, I just realised that his first name was Harry and he was known as St. John. I'm fairly sure that Wikipedia guidelines indicate that one should avoid links in headings. Unfortunately I can't remember which guideline or where I read it. But I tend to remove them wherever I find them.

I was watching Duke of Normandy just because it covers a period of history that interests me. I was very impressed with your edits, and I clicked your contributions to see if we had anything else in common. I was a big fan of Milo O'Shea as a child, and I have a particular love of that particular version of Ulysses, hence the edit.

Hi HouseOfScandal - can I point out the Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English - when writing topics concerning a locatable topic, the page should use the spelling appropriate to that area, e.g. Irish English (very similar to British English) for the Dún Aengus article, Commonwealth English for Asian trees, etc.; so 'metre', 'neighbouring', and so on - thanks, MPF 01:33, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

I must admit you are right about my article Old Timeyness. The concept of "Old Timeyness" is one I independentantly recognized. I know Wikipedia isn't the place for original research, but I doubt that no one else has recognized this phenominon besides myself. Try moving it to "talk:nostalgia/old timeyness" or "talk:anachronism/old timeyness" and link to it from the parent talk page. That way you get it on Wikipedia and no one is likely to prod it. Thanks for your kind words and thanks for paying close attention. Yes, you caught a typo. The text now reads:

"St. Andrew's Church closed in 2000 although funeral masses are sometimes still held there. St. Andrew's School closed at the end of school year 2005."

Thanks for your input on the merging of Fenway-Kenmore and Kenmore square - You made some very good points and I will remove the merging. Sure, it would be a good idea for me to consolidate my efforts with those of others. For example, I did a lot of work on the Mission Hill article many weeks ago and it should probably be taken off the list of places that need work. If you glance at My User Page you'll see I have been pretty busy working on Greater Boston-related topics already.
