Houston Elementary School (Lancaster, Texas)

Houston Elementary School is a public school in Lancaster, Texas (USA). It is part of the Lancaster Independent School District.
Located at 2929 Marquis Street in northern Lancaster, the school serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through five.
Prior to the 2006-2007 school year, the campus was located at 3100 North Houston School Road.

As of the 2004-2005 school year, Houston Elementary had a total of 352 students (53.7% African-American, 41.5% Hispanic, and 4.8% White).

Based on the accountability ratings released by the Texas Education Agency on August 1, 2006, Houston Elementary is currently rated "Academically Acceptable".

All Lancaster ISD students are required to wear school uniforms [1].
Pre-Kindergartners and Elementary schoolers may wear:
- Red, White, and Blue solid polo shirts, turtlenecks, vests, and sweatshirts
- Solid color jackets and windbreakers
- White Oxford shirts
- Khaki and Navy blue bottoms and Black slacks
