House of Trouser
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The House of Trouser is a house in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough as seen in the soap opera Neighbours, and is at 30 Ramsay Street. The house had several occupants before it took its present nickname, taken due to its almost all male inhabitants. Characters that have lived in the house or still live there include Toadie Rebecchi, Connor O'Neil, Stuart Parker, Ned Parker, Taj Coppin, Lou Carpenter, Lance Wilkinson, Joel Samuels, Boyd Hoyland and Stingray Timmins as well as female 'impostors' Dione Bliss, Sindi Watts and Janae Hoyland. Bob The Dog who originally lived in the house with Sarah Beaumont in the pre-House Of Trouser days also currently lives there.
As with many houses that feature in soaps, the size of the house is debatable. It is known that there is a front room, kitchen and pool in the back garden. The number of bedrooms, based on how many people live in the house, is three.
In 2006 the title "House of Trouser" was questioned by occupent Ned Parker as the hi-jinx that made it so famous had died down. It is still to be seen if H.O.T. survives or whether it will just revert to being another ordinary Ramsey Street property!
