Hotboxing

Hotboxing (also known as green housing, clambaking,^[1] fishbowling, or a compression session) is the act of smoking cannabis in an enclosed space, typically a car.^[1] This means that there is a buildup of cannabis smoke in the enclosed area, which will be inhaled by the users leading to higher levels of intoxication. It should be noted that in some jurisdictions, being under the influence of drugs while in control of a vehicle may be a criminal offense, even if the vehicle is not being driven. It is also recommended that the practice not be undertaken in small airtight spaces, such as discarded fridges or freezers, since asphyxia may occur, also the fact you are inhaling a substance that is banned in most of the 1st world.

A similar practice, nicknamed a "Jamaican shower" or "Hawaiian hotbox," involves smoking in a small bathroom with the shower and hot water taps switched on. This causes water vapor in the air, which mixes with the cannabis smoke, theoretically leading to a more intense high. The mechanics of this and whether it actually gives a greater high is unknown.

Please note that while the mechanics of a "Hawaiian hotbox" may not be beneficial, while marijuana smokers may do this for the social aspect more so than the higher THC levels.
