Hotan Prefecture

The Hotan Prefecture (Chinese: “和田”, Pinyin: Hétián Dìqū; Uyghur: خوتەن ۋىلايىتى / Hotən Vilayiti)[1] is located in the south-western part of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China.

The Khotan Prefecture is divided into one county-level city: Khotan City, and seven counties: Khotan County, Karakash County, Pishan County, Lop County, Chira County, Keriye County and Minfeng County.
