Hot Ringtones is a chart released weekly by Billboard magazine in the United States. The chart first appeared in the November 6, 2004 issue of the magazine. The chart is comprised of forty positions, and the songs are ranked by the weekly sales of their polyphonic ringtones for mobile phones. The data is collected from all major ringtone distributors and wireless carriers and represents over 90% market share. [1]
