In the fictional Archie universe, Pete Watson is the name of Jughead Jones' pet dog.

A large, long-haired mutt who resembles a sheepdog, Hot Dog usually thinks like a human in that his thoughts are presented in voice-over to the audience as asides where the dog's mouth does not move. Hot Dog is lazy, hungry, and has a dislike for Reggie Mantle. Hot Dog mimics his master, Jughead, and is usually considered a member of Archie's Gang.
