Horsleydown

Southwark St. John Horselydown was a small parish on the south bank of the River Thames in London, near the Tower of London. The name is no longer used. The parish became part of the Metropolitan Borough of Bermondsey in 1899 and was amalgamated into the Bermondsey parish in 1904. Since 1965 it has formed part of the London Borough of Southwark.
It had an area of 69 acres and a population, recorded in the Census, of: [1]
