Horse (or, Horse McDonald, born November 22, 1958 in Newport on Tay, Fife) is a Scottish musician.

Horse McDonald's career as a musician has spanned three decades, six albums, eight singles, and hundreds of live appearances. She has worked with artists such as Tina Turner, Robbie Williams, Burt Bacharach, Brian Ferry, BB King, Aztec Camera, Nanci Griffith, Sir Ian McKellen, Lesley Garrett, Pet Shop Boys, All Saints, Kid Creole, Culture Club, Erasure and Michelle McManus. She has performed live with the BT Scottish Ensemble (subsequently released as a live album), and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. She has also appeared on the 1980s TV show The Tube. In 1998 she staged the Our Lips Shouldn't Touch show over a ten night run at the drill hall in London, singing everything from Doris Day to Gluck via Madonna. The same year she performed at both Celtic Connections and the Edinburgh International Festival.

In 2006, Horse released new single, "Same Old, Same Old" as a taster for a new album "Red Haired Girl" to be released mid-year.

Horse McDonald has been described as an artist 'who wouldn't have been out of place on the stax or motown labels in their heyday'[citation needed].
