Hornnes og Iveland

Hornnes og Iveland is a former municipality in Aust-Agder county, Norway.
It was created in 1837 as Hornnes og Iveland formannskapsdistrikt. According to the 1835 census the municipality had a population of 1,848.
On 1 January 1886 Hornnes og Iveland was split to create two municipalities: Hornnes with a population of 1,113 and Iveland with a population of 1,103. Iveland municipality still exists today, while Hornnes is a part of Evje og Hornnes.
