Horinouchi, Niigata

Horinouchi (堀之内町; -machi) is a town located in Kitauonuma District, Niigata, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 9,403 and a density of 136.28 persons per km². The total area is 69.00 km².

The town was merged into the city of Uonuma in November 1, 2004.
